The Drury Dozen is an annual list of our favorite moments of the year from Drury Athletics. The list is not necessarily the most significant events but the special games and moments we'll always associate with 2023-24 as chosen by the Drury Athletics sports communications staff.
 
We'll provide honorable mention selections later in the countdown, but for now, here is our eighth-ranked moment from 2023-24:
 
#8 – DU women's swimming & diving wins GLVC Championship; Mellie Wijk named GLVC Swimmer of the Year
 
Feb. 11, 2024 – Deaconess Aquatic Center, Evansville, Ind.
 
The Drury women's swimming & diving team won their eighth Great Lakes Valley Conference championship in 11 years on Feb. 11, 2024, in Evansville, Indiana.
 
The Panthers held off Indianapolis and won the title by fewer than 100 points, while Mellie Wijk earned Swimmer of the Year honors after the league meet.
