Megan Krueger-Herren, a 2002 graduate and a native of Kansas City, Missouri, Megan was a standout in the sport of women's swimming.  Megan is being inducted today and is one of vew few athletes to be so honored in their first year of eligibility.  One of the top sprinters in the program's history, Megan helped lead the women's team to two NCAA-II national titles (1999 and 2000) and two second place finishes.  In the course of her four years at Drury Krueger, as an individual, won the 50 freestyle four times and the 100 freestyle three times. In 2000 Krueger was the national champion in the 100 fly and her senior year she won the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle events.  She was also part of eight national championship relay teams during her career.  In all Megan was a 12-time individual All-American and a 16-time All-American  in various relay events.  Megan also earned Academic All-America honors and was a NCAA-II Post-Graduate Scholarship nominee upon her graduation from Drury.  Megan graduated with honors from Drury on May 12, 2002 with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science.  Now a physical therapist, Megan lives in Kansas City with her husband Joseph, and their one-year old daugher: Hannah.
