Drury University Athletics is proud to induct four members of its 2024 Hall of Fame induction class for Lifetime Service. Ronnie and Susan Hamilton, Chip Parker, and Ray Meyer receive induction honors for two decades or more of service given to the Drury Athletics Department.

Ronnie and Susan Hamilton have been a fixture on the Drury basketball scorer’s table since the inception of the Lady Panthers basketball program in 2000-01. Ronnie has served as the official scorekeeper, maintaining the scorebook, and Susan has worked the scoreboard at both Weiser Gym and now the O’Reilly Family Event Center.

The Hamiltons also worked seven NCAA regional tournaments hosted by Drury, and seven conference tournament events. They have also worked courtside for high school tournament games at Drury and for every game of the Pink & White Lady Classic, one of the premier high school girls' basketball tournaments in the Midwest. The event features 28 games in four days and the Hamiltons have covered them all, as well as the KTXR Lady Classic, held at Weiser Gym in the 2000’s.

Ronnie Hamilton had an extensive career teaching in the Springfield Public Schools and was on the faculty at Glendale High School. He and his wife Susan celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2024.
