A native of Boley, Oklahoma, Nate ranks fourth all-time in scoring at Drury with 1,935 points and is fourth in career assists with 514.  He was a member of the 1979 NAIA National Championship team that went 33-2.  Considered Mr. Clutch, he led the Panthers with 23 points and 11 rebounds in Drury's 1978 NAIA National Championship quarterfinal game.  Quinn was an honorable mention NAIA All-American in 1980 and twice earned fist team All-District 16 honors and while earning honorable mention honors in 1978.  He is also the only Drury player to receive both athletic and academic NAIA All-America honors.  His 
567 points in 1979-80 tie him for sixteenth most in a season in the Drury record books.
