Paul Robb was one of Drury's all-time great athletes. A member of the Class of 1933, he earned his degree in geology on June 1, 1948. During his four years at Drury in the late 20's and early 30's the name Paul Robb was well-known in athletic circles throughout the midwest. A native of Joplin, Mo., Paul was a standout in football and track at Drury. He was the Panthers' top sprinter throughout his college career and one of the top sprinters in the world. More than once he ran the 100-yard dash in under 10 seconds. He shared the world record in 1933 by running the 100-yard dash in 9.8 seconds at the Drake Relays. Robb passed away in 1985.
