Roland Shultz, a graduate of Springfield Glendale High School, is the only Panther player to ever play on four MCAU Conference Championship teams, and play in three NAIA National Tournaments.  Shultz  was first team All-District and All-Conference his last three years, and was NAIA  All-American honorable mention both his sophomore and junior year.  Roland was nominated for the first United States Olympic Basketball Planning Program in 1970.  Upon his graduation in 1971 he held many Panther records.  Shultz ranks eighth all-time in scoring and tenth all-time in rebounding.
