Sandy Rippee is the third volleyball player to be inducted into the Drury Hall of Fame, joining Paula Wohnhas (1995 inductee) and Stehpanie Bates (1997 inductee). This trio earned NAIA All-America honors with Sandy earning NAIA Honorable Mention All-American honors in 1993. She was also District 16 Co-Player of the Year that season. A three-time All-District 16 pick and a four-year varsity letterman, Sandy helped her teams to NAIA national rankings all four years she was at Drury. A 1990 graduate of Springfield Hillcrest, Sandy Rippee's name is found throughout the volleyball record book. She is the program's all-time leader in games played (584); she is third in kill blocks (611); fourth in digs (1,694); third in attack kills (1,492); and, fifth in service aces (199). In the single season records she can be found tiwce on the attack kill list. In 1993 she had 455, good for third place and in 1992 she had 399 kills, good for tenth place. Her 152 kill blocks in 1992 places her in the seventh spot on that list. She also holds numerous individual match records.
